The Parkview Oaks Civic Association is a nonprofit organization that is put together by volunteers. We are as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Let's bring our abilities and passions together to affect real change
Beautification – Ongoing upkeep and improvement of both entrances, boulevards, and vacant lots. Put out seasonal decorations. Complete seasonal plantings. Coordinate Holiday Decorations Contest.

Events – Coordinate and host neighborhood events such as annual garage sale, movie nights, game nights, photo scavenger hunts, picnics, etc. Seek sponsors for events.
Chair: Kelly Coreil
Outreach – Work with block captains to identify new homeowners and neighbors in need. Make and distribute Welcome Gifts (with block captains). Host new neighbor get togethers. Seek volunteers to help neighbors in temporary need (ex. lawn mowing, shopping, cooking, etc).

Communications – Design newsletters, event flyers and announcements/notifications, send out email notices, compose social media posts (PVO Facebook), maintain website.

Safety & Maintenance – Help setup and take down for events and meetings, see to maintenance and repairs of signs, fences, gatehouse and irrigation systems. Consider hosting cleanup neighborhood events periodically. Communicate with police and neighbors regarding safety concerns.

Block Captains – Serve as liaison between neighbors and civic association. Report new neighbors contact info, neighbors needing temporary, potholes, street light outages, blighted properties, etc.
